Students of the University of Macau (UM) participated in the ‘Challenge Cup’ National College Students’ Extracurricular Academic Science and Technology Contest. The five participating projects of UM stood out from more than 400,000 entries from all over the country and won a top prize, a first prize, a second prize, and two third prizes. UM once again was the only higher education institution in Macao to win both top prize and first prize in the contest.
Lee Chon Fai and Zhang Zhenghao, supervised by Prof. Lam Chi Seng and UM Macao Fellow Dr. U Chi Wa, were awarded a second prize for their project titled “Low Power, Wide Temperature Range, High Precision Switched-Capacitor Network based Bandgap Voltage Reference Chip for IoT Applications“.
