A delegation led by Yang Zhenwu, secretary-general of the Standing Committee of the National People’s Congress (NPC) and secretary of its Party Leadership Group, today (19 November) visited the University of Macau (UM) to learn about the university’s history, disciplinary layout, and research results. Yang praised UM for its development and achievements in recent years and recognised the fruitful research results of its state key laboratories.

Prof. Rui Martins, Founding Director of the State Key Laboratory of Analog and Mixed-Signal VLSI (SKL-AMSV), and Prof. Sin Sai-Weng, Deputy Director of the SKL-AMSV, presented the latest research and innovation achievements of the SKL-AMSV to the delegation. The delegation highly appreciated the development of the University, especially its research achievements, and expected the University to make further progress and achieve new breakthroughs in talent cultivation, technological innovation and social services.
