With strong support from the State Key Laboratory of Analog and Mixed-Signal VLSI at the University of Macau, IEEE Circuits and Systems Society Macau Chapter, IEEE Solid-State Circuits Society Macau Chapter, China Association for Science and Technology, University of Macau and Zhuhai UM Science & Technology Research Institute, the 8th IEEE International Conference on Integrated Circuits, Technologies and Applications (ICTA 2025) was successfully held in Macao from 22 to 24 October 2025. This year’s theme, “Analog, AI and Applications,” aimed to provide an international platform for academic exchange and to promote the latest advancements in IC design, process technologies, and applications.
The conference attracted 300 experts and scholars from 5 countries and regions worldwide, receiving 287 paper submissions. After a rigorous review process, 146 high-quality papers were ultimately accepted. The conference program included 6 tutorial sessions, 24 technical sessions, 10 poster sessions and 1 industry session covering cutting-edge topics such as analog circuits, AI hardware, RF and millimeter-wave technologies, power management, sensors, and biomedical applications.
The conference featured invited plenary speeches by three internationally renowned experts: Professor Liu Ming, Academician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences and professor at Fudan University; Professor Massimo Alioto, IEEE Fellow and professor at the National University of Singapore; and Professor José Epifânio Da Franca, IEEE Fellow and professor at the University of Lisbon. Furthermore, five distinguished professors were invited to deliver keynote speeches: Professor Keiichiro Kagawa from Shizuoka University, Professor Michael Kraft from KU Leuven, Professor Qiang Li from Hamburg University of Technology, Professor Zhiyi Yu from Sun Yat-sen University, and Professor Jun Yang from Southeast University. They shared the latest research breakthroughs in AI hardware, low-power design, and emerging semiconductor technologies, further fostering collaboration between academia and industry.
Since its inception, IEEE ICTA has become a significant international conference in the Asia-Pacific region for integrated circuits and applications, working closely with IEEE Solid-State Circuits Society (SSCS), IEEE Circuits and Systems Society (CASS), and other professional societies to advance global semiconductor technology.
