The 6th China Postgraduate IC Innovation Competition, guided by the Ministry of Education of the People’s Republic of China, hosted by the Association of Chinese Graduate Education and the Children & Youth Science Center of CAST, was successfully held in Wuhan from August 1st to 4th, 2023. Three students from UM IME, Zhongjun Chen, Tian Xia, and Zaitian Yang, supervised by professor Mo Huang, designed “A voltage regulator with fast transient and low output ripple”. They advanced to the finals, and received enterprise second prize and team third prize.
The China Postgraduate IC Innovation Competition, aiming at “Creating Chips, Selecting Stars, Cultivating Talents,” is open to graduate students majoring in integrated circuits from universities and research institutes nationwide. It is one of the main events in the series of China Graduate Innovation Practice. Since 2018, the competition has played an important role in serving the development of the national integrated circuit industry, selecting and nurturing outstanding talents in the field of integrated circuits.
