The Distinguished Lecture on “Low Noise High Accuracy Amplifier Circuit Design” will take place as follows:

Date: 22 August 2024 (Thursday)

Time: 10:30 a.m. –  11:30 a.m.

Venue: Research Building N21, G/F, Room G013

The speaker is:

Prof. XIAO Zhiming , Professor, Nankai University, Tianjin, China

The Lecture is:

Low Noise High Accuracy Amplifier Circuit Design

Abstract:

Amplifier with high accuracy, meaning low noise, low offset, and high line & load regulations, are highly demanded in sensitive sensing scenarios. However, accuracy is usually compromised with power, area, and complexity. So, this talk discusses the structural improvements and working modes innovations in both academic and industrial realms.

Biography:

Prof. XIAO Zhiming received the B.S. degree from the Huazhong University of Science and Technology and the M.S. and Ph.D. degrees from the Electrical Engineering Department, University of Florida. From 2011 to 2019, he was a Design Engineer with the Power Management IC Group, Linear Technology Corporation (Now ADI), Colorado Springs, CO, USA. He is currently a Professor with the Microelectronics Department, Nankai University, Tianjin, China. His current research interests include ultralow power analog circuit design, low quiescent current switching power converters, and their digital control techniques.
