The Distinguished Lecture on “The Key Problems and Technologies of High-Frequency Magnetics in Power Electronics” will take place as follows:

Date: 10 December 2025 (Wednesday)

Time: 15:00 – 17:00

Venue: Research Building N21, G/F, G013

The speaker is:

Prof. CHEN Wei, College of Electrical Engineering and Automation, Fuzhou University, China

The Lecture is:

The Key Problems and Technologies of High-Frequency Magnetics in Power Electronic

Abstract:

As semiconductors develop quickly in recent years, the power conversion systems become high frequency and high density. Magnetics as important passive components play more and more critical roles because of their large sizes, great losses and high temperature rise as well as EMI. The seminar will focus on the key problems, key technologies and the opportunities of the magnetics, including core losses, winding losses, PCB windings, integrated magnetics, measurements of magnetic and loss properties, and the EMI behaviors of the magnetics, etc. Any other concrete topics on magnetics applications are welcome and discussed on site.
