Chi-Seng Lam, Associate Professor in the State Key Laboratory of Analog and Mixed-Signal VLSI, the Institute of Microelectronics, and the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering of the Faculty of Science and Technology at the University of Macau (UM), has recently been awarded with three “2024 Outstanding Reviewer” honors by the IEEE top-tier journals and societies, including IEEE Transactions on Power Electronics under the IEEE Power Electronics Society, IEEE Transactions on Industrial Electronics under the IEEE Industrial Electronics Society, and IEEE Solid-State Circuits Society. These three accolades recognize Prof. Lam’s exceptional contributions as a reviewer in the fields of power electronics, industrial electronics, and solid-state circuits, highlighting his international academic influence and rigorous scholarly dedication.
IEEE Transactions on Power Electronics, IEEE Transactions on Industrial Electronics, and the IEEE Solid-State Circuits Society are among the most authoritative journals and societies in the fields of power electronics, industrial electronics, and microelectronics engineering. Each year, only a select few reviewers are awarded the “Outstanding Reviewer” honor. With his profound academic expertise, rigorous review attitude, and constructive review comment, Prof. Lam has earned recognition from multiple IEEE societies, becoming the only scholar worldwide to receive all three honors simultaneously in 2024.
