The Institute of Microelectronics (IME) organized an orientation for the Master of Philosophy and Master of Science in Microelectronics programmes to welcome 106 new postgraduate students on 27 August 2024.
At the Orientation, Prof. Rui Martins, Director of IME, introduced the development and achievement of microelectronics research of IME, and also presented the academic and administrative teams to the students. Prof. Elvis Pui-In Mak, Deputy Director (Research) of IME, encouraged students to become experts in the field of Microelectronics. Prof. Terry Sai-Weng Sin, Deputy Director (Academic) of IME, presented the study plans of the two master programmes. After the presentation, there was also a Q&A session for the students to interact with staff members and ask questions.
