Prof. U Seng Pan of the University of Macau (UM), on the recommendation of The Science and Technology Development Fund of Macao SAR, was selected as the winner of the Prize for Scientific and Technological Innovation 2010 of The Ho Leung Ho Lee Foundation through a plenary meeting of the Selection Board of the Foundation held from 9 Sept to 10 Sept. This is the first time a local scholar has been awarded a prize from the Foundation.
The Prize for Scientific and Technological Innovation of Ho Leung Ho Lee Foundation aims to reward outstanding individuals who have attained remarkable achievements in science and technology, have created businesses or famous brands with proprietary intellectual property through technology and management innovation, and thus have created enormous economic and social benefits for society.
