From 23-25 July 2023, the Department of Electronic Engineering of Tsinghua University and the State Key Laboratory of Analog and Mixed-Signal VLSI (AMSV) of the University of Macau (UM) convened the first Tsinghua-University of Macau Sustainable Innovation Forum at Tsinghua University. Prof. Shen Yuan, Secretary of the Party Committee of the Department of Electronic Engineering of Tsinghua University, and Prof. Mak Pui-In, Director of AMSV and Deputy Director (Research) of the Institute of Microelectronics (IME) of UM attended the meeting and delivered opening speeches, and relevant faculty and students from Tsinghua University and UM took part in this forum.
The forum sessions included the sharing of academic frontier outlook by academic staff, the reporting of research reports by students, as well as poster presentations and round-table forums by students of the two universities. In the morning and afternoon, Prof. Mak Pui-In (UM), Prof. Lu Yan (UM), and Prof. Sun Nan (Tsinghua) gave invited presentations respectively.
Students from Tsinghua University and UM shared their research works and had a lively discussion with the attending faculties and students.
Finally, the attending faculties voted for the two best oral presentation awards and four best poster presentation awards, and Prof. Mak Pui-In and Prof. Sun Nan presented the awards to the winning students.
