Prof Rui Martins, vice rector (research) of the University of Macau (UM), today (16 March) gave a lecture as part of the University Lecture Series and the Collegiate Learning Day.
In the lecture, titled ‘Two Decades Nurturing Scientists in Macao: From a Desert to a State Key Laboratory of China Excelling in the World-State of Electronics’, Prof Martins discussed the history and achievements of UM’s State Key Laboratory of Analog and Mixed-Signal VLSI, as well as the increasing international recognition UM has gained in the field of microelectronics.
