Prof. Ben U Seng Pan, deputy director of the State Key Laboratory of Analog and Mixed-Signal VLSI (the AMS-VLSI Lab) and professor of the Faculty of Science and Technology at the University of Macau (UM), has been named Distinguished Lecturer of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers Solid-State Circuit Society (IEEE SSCS) for the 2014-2015 period.

Three PhD students from the University of Macau (UM) State Key Laboratory of Analog and Mixed-Signal VLSI and Faculty of Science and Technology did exceptionally well at the 61st IEEE International Solid-State Circuits Conference (ISSCC), which is considered the “Chip Olympics”.

State Key Laboratory of Analog and Mixed-Signal VLSI (AMS-VLSI Lab), have passed their mid-stage assessment with flying colours. The expert assessment team said that our lab successfully met the mid-stage targets in research direction and personnel training.
