The University of Macau and its State Key Laboratory of Analog and Mixed-Signal VLSI (AMSV) are pleased to announce that 3 papers and 3 (PhD) Student Research Previews were accepted and presented at the 63rd ISSCC that took place, as always, in San Francisco, California.

Prof Ben U Seng Pan from Synopsys (Macao) and the University of Macau (UM) Faculty of Science and Technology, who is the deputy director of the State Key Laboratory of Analog and Mixed-Signal VLSI, has been elevated to the fellowship of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) for the year 2016

A research team from the University of Macau (UM) recently received the Best Paper Award at the European Solid-State Circuits Conference (ESSCIRC) 2015 held in Graz, Austria. The ESSCIRC is considered ‘Europe’s “Chip Olympics”’. This year’s conference attracted 200 high-quality papers from around the world.

Lei Ka-Meng, a PhD student from the University of Macau (UM) State-Key Laboratory of Analog and Mixed-Signal VLSI and Faculty of Science and Technology (FST), recently received a Distinguished Design Award for his research paper at the IEEE Asian Solid-State Circuits Conference 2015 (IEEE A-SSCC 2015).
