Prof Rui Martins and Prof Mak Pui-In, from the University of Macau’s (UM) State Key Laboratory of Analog and Mixed-Signal VLSI (AMS-VLSI Lab) and Faculty of Science and Technology, recently gave an Invited Distinguished Seminar at Qualcomm, San Diego, United States. Qualcomm is a world-leading chip maker for mobile phones.

Dr Lei Ka-Meng, a lecturer under the ‘Macao Fellow’ programme at the University of Macau, will be a visiting scholar at the Harvard University for a two-year term starting in mid-2017.

The State Key Laboratory of Analog and Mixed-Signal VLSI (SKL-AMSV) and Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, Faculty of Science and Technology (FST/ECE) and had organized several visits to the local secondary schools to strengthen the communication between the University of Macau and local high schools.

UM professor Mak PMak Pui-In, associate director (research) of the State-Key Laboratory of Analog and Mixed-Signal VLSI and associate professor of the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, Faculty of Science and Technology, University of Macau (UM), has been selected as the Distinguished Lecturer of the IEEE (Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers)
