The University of Macau’s (UM) State Key Laboratory of Analog and Mixed-Signal VLSI is ranked No 1 in Asia and No 3 in the world

Dr Lei Ka-Meng, a lecturer under the ‘Macao Fellow’ programme at the University of Macau, will be a visiting scholar at the Harvard University for a two-year term starting in mid-2017.

The State Key Laboratory of Analog and Mixed-Signal VLSI (SKL-AMSV) and Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, Faculty of Science and Technology (FST/ECE) and had organized several visits to the local secondary schools to strengthen the communication between the University of Macau and local high schools.

UM professor Mak PMak Pui-In, associate director (research) of the State-Key Laboratory of Analog and Mixed-Signal VLSI and associate professor of the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, Faculty of Science and Technology, University of Macau (UM), has been selected as the Distinguished Lecturer of the IEEE (Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers)

Prof Rui Martins, vice rector (research) of the University of Macau (UM) and director of the UM State Key Laboratory of Analog and Mixed-Signal VLSI (AMS-VLSI Lab), received the Outstanding Service Award from the IEEE

The University of Macau (UM) has nurtured 24 PhD graduates since the founding of the laboratory in microelectronics research. Many of them have been employed by leading companies and institutes in the field.
