The paper “Revisiting the Frontiers of Analog and Mixed-Signal Integrated Circuits Architectures and Techniques towards the future Internet of Everything (IoE) Applications” is published in Foundations and Trends® in Integrated Circuits and Systems, Volume 1, Issue 2-3, 2 Nov 2021, by Rui P. Martins, Pui-In Mak, Sai-Weng Sin, Man-Kay Law, Yan Zhu, Yan Lu, Jun Yin, Chi-Hang Chan, Yong Chen, Ka-Fai Un, Mo Huang, Minglei Zhang, Yang Jiang and Wei-Han Yu. This paper presents state-of-the-art designs of the most critical building blocks of the analog/digital interface highlighting new and innovative circuit architectures and techniques. It addresses capacitive sensor interfaces, ultra-low-power wireless transceivers, key technologies for wireline transceivers, oscillators and frequency generators, integrated energy harvesting (EH) interfaces, in-memory processing, as well as, data and power converters, all exhibiting high-quality performance with low power consumption, high energy-efficiency and high speed, thus enabling a reliable and consistent development of the IoE while enlarging its frontiers.

About Foundations and Trends
Founded in 2004 by two experienced publishing executives, Mike Casey and Zac Rolnik, now publishers is an international academic press that has built a reputation among readers, authors, editors and librarians as a source of excellent peer-reviewed publications in Business, Economics, Computer Science and Engineering.

now publishers’ marquee product is Foundations and Trends ®, already acclaimed as a “go to” resource for graduate students and senior researchers looking for a high-level introduction to a new area. Primarily published as a monograph-style journal, each FnT issue comprises a state-of-the-art review (50-200 pages) of its subject written by research leaders. By combining the peer-review of research journals with the high usage of reference works and the pedagogy of textbooks, FnT fulfils an important need in graduate-level education in the areas of Business, Economics, Computer Science and Electrical Engineering.
