Research on Key Technologies of Hybrid Frequency Wireless Power Transfer System with Active Power Compression Capability

Abstract:

Following the wireless transmission of information, the wireless power transfer will also have a profound impact on all aspects of production and daily life in human society. Due to its advantages of convenience, safety, reliability, and non-contact, this technology is favored in some special applications. At the same time, with the continuous iterative update of wide-bandgap devices, wireless power transfer technology will eventually develop in the direction of high-frequency miniaturization, high voltage, and high power. But it is well known that high frequency systems tend to transmit relatively low power levels, accompanied by relatively difficult sensitivity issues. However, the inherent characteristics of low-frequency systems can easily solve the above problems. Therefore, it is a good research direction to integrate the characteristics of the dual-frequency system and form complementary advantages to finally achieve the improvement of system robustness and power level. This report aims to propose a dual-frequency hybrid system design method which can provide a realization solution for high-frequency and high-power wireless power transfer.
