The Lecture is:

The Gate Driver IC Techniques (for Si- Power Device and WBG- Power Device)

Abstract:

Power devices play the role of ‘switch’ in power electronic system and its control and protection usually need gate driver ICs. There are many kinds of gate driver ICs, which could be divided into high voltage and low voltage, isolated and non-isolated, low side and high side. Base on the requirements for the current popular brush-less motor system (low frequency) and high power density converter system (high frequency), this presentation will discuss the development on the technology process, the circuit construction, the technical problems and innovative methods of the gate driver ICs for Si-based and WBG-based power devices.
