Time: 15:00 – 16:00

Venue: Lecture Hall, G013, N21, University of Macau

The speaker is:

Prof. Li GENG
Professor, Vice Dean of Institute of Microelectronics, Xi'an Jiaotong University

The Lecture is:

“Low Power Design for Mixed Signal/RF IC”

Abstract:

The increasing prominence of portable systems has led to rapid and innovative developments in low power IC design. Meanwhile, advances in process technology allow the highly-integrated system-on-chip (SoC) designs. Low power design has become one of the key issues in these designs. Power management, ADC and RF ICs are common components in the SoC chips. This talk will focus on some new works on low power designs of DC-DC converter, ADC, RF power amplifier and energy harvester. Several design techniques and strategies to improve the performance will be described.
