The Lecture is:

DC-DC Converters for Computing Devices

Abstract:

With the rapid development of 5G, artificial intelligence and big data technology, the computing power demand of all kinds of electronic devices is growing explosively. Under this background, high-density power management chips have become the pivotal device to support the development of high-computing processors and large-scale data centers. Aiming at the application of high computing power management, this report will describe and summarize the technical characteristics of several existing high-performance DC-DC converters, so as to provide some technical references for relevant researchers..

Biography:

Dr. QU Wanyuan is a professor at Zhejiang University where he leads the Power Management Integrated Circuits Laboratory. He received the Doctor’s degree from Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST) and has been with LG company from the year 2008 to 2017. He led the mass production of several high-performance power management ICs and has been granted with nine U.S patents, five Korean patents and two Chinese patents. Dr. QU has published several International Solid-state Circuits Conference (ISSCC) and Journal of Solid-State Circuits (JSSC) papers, including the ISSCC 2021 Silkroad Award paper and the ISSCC 2002 “DC-DC Converters” highlight paper. He serves as technical program committee of several prestigious IEEE conferences.
